We create experiences that connect people with brands, places and each other.
We make physical space interactive. This might take the form of a sculpture in a building lobby that subtly responds to passersby, or an installation at an experience center that playfully introduces a new product to customers. We focus on creating shared experiences that leave people feeling connected to a place or a brand.
Founded in 2006 by MIT Media PhD and TED Fellow James Patten, we reinvest half of studio profits on internal R&D projects to explore the future of interactivity. So much of today’s technology leaves us feeling disconnected from each other. Our mission is to show the world how a different design approach can reconnect us. Real, in-person, face-to-face, human-to-human connection.
Our clients benefit from this experimentation through a broader range of experiential possibilities, and new technologies to back those up. In other words, a broader vocabulary of interactivity. This way we can focus on strategy first, and let that drive the experiential concept without being constrained by technology.
– HOW WE WORK
We love to bring a project from start to finish, from strategy to installation. We’re also happy to work only on design, strategy or execution. We’re often asked to execute concepts that others have developed, particularly if they involve challenging technology. We love to collaborate.
